Very interesting. I prefer natural hair personally. I think perhaps during Madame Walker’s day, strait hair was a means of imulation and acceptance, but today it may be more of a fashion statement, pride in heritage as well an indicator of affluence.

This topic about hair is very complex, there are just so many areas of discussion that are related to this! The bottom line is that the choice of what you do with YOUR hair is ultimately up to YOU and YOU ONLY.
