men in womens clothing?
i am a 16 year old male and i currently wear female thongs everyonce in a while. I have had thoughts of crossdressing completely tho as well. Before i do this i need some advice of what to buy and where to buy it without embarrasing myself. i am about 5 foot 9 160 pounds. so what kindve clothes should i buy and where could i get a wig? how can i make myself look enough like a girl to go out in public without people knowing im a guy? i also wear shorts a lot so i am afraid to shave my legs… should i just not shave them or do i need to do that? i dont want to always dress this way just every once in a while. serious answers only please
p.s. i currently have a girlfriend and am not attracted to men i just get really turned on by female clothing and sometiems wish i was a girl
You are experiencing a sort of coming out as a transvestite. Transvestites are different from Trans-gender. I'll explain briefly before going into your question a bit deeper. TranVe's are (usually) heterosexual men (attracted to women) who like to dress as women, in both sexual and non sexual capacity. TransGe's are people trapped in the wrong body and their sexual preferences vary.
I've included some good links for you.
Whigs should be the easiest for you if you live in a city. Just pop into any beauty shop (not a hair dresser, a beauty shop.) and browse around.
Buy some pantyhose that look thick (or tights even) and you won't have to shave your legs until you're ready or decide to do so. Other than that just shop where girls shop, or visit a local thrift store and purchase some skirts or girl's pants. If you want a bra that's easy too, if you're embarrassed just say it's for your girlfriend and she's an A-Cup.
I don't know what city you live in, though I do know some places are more friendly than others. I live in Philly and we have a pretty big Trans population, so much so that I don't even think of my Trans friends as anything other than their lovely selves. (And I moved here from the bible belt.)
I really think you should reach out to a close friend or your girlfriend. Actually, if you explain things to your girl after doing some research, she might just be the best help teaching you how to do makeup. If she doesn't understand your need then she's not the girl for you.
Life as a Trans isn't going to be easy, and a lot of people will think you're weird or a freak, but you're not okay! You are NOT a freak. There are millions of people out there just like you who find the same sorts of things attractive, there's a huge support community out there if you even need it, and I'll be happy to offer any more advice you need if you want. Just shoot me an e-mail.
Do you think I could achieve this style with a perm, or only with rollers?

Well I'm not really sure about this, rofl, umm it'll be hard to not look like a guy unless you naturally look like a female, which in some cases some guys do if they had long hair.

you have a lot of realization to undergo to my friend. it seems like you're confused of your sexuality. don't feel weird because there are people who's been there and at present like you. you might want to talk to somebody that you can trust and knows more about that matter. it's not a game or play that you can just say " whatever" because it's a serious thing that needs attention. you have to take your time, don't be in a hurry to try this and that because you'll end up facing the consequences after. you're only 16 and unstable when it comes to choices in life. you will still have a long way to go, take it easy and think before you act. sometimes, it's what we see that influences our mind and body. don't just think of your own self satisfaction, there's more involve to that. . . i wish you well….. =)

Since you're wanting to do this secretly, I would suggest only doing your shopping a long way from home or on the internet. As far as what size to buy, measure yourself and look at the size charts-they will tell you what size should fit. You should also be able to find a wig there. If you live in a larger town, there are sections of town where alternative lifestyles are more accepted, and I'm sure some of the shop owners would love to help you pick out some clothes and dress you up. You'd be their Barbie for the day! You'd also have to buy some makeup and practice a lot at home with it before you ever went out in public. There are probably some websites that you can go to for advice on how to dress or apply makeup to make you look more feminine. As far as the leg shaving, that's a difficult question because if you are wanting to dress like a woman, you simply must shave the legs. But if people notice your shaved legs, they will suspect you're up to something. Maybe you could just shave your legs in the winter when you don't wear shorts. One guy I dated told me he had a dislike for body hair, and he shaved all of the hair off of his body. It was fine on day 1, but after day 2, you couldn't stand to touch him because he was like being around a cactus, it really put a cramp on being romantic with him.
By the way, to buy things online, if you don't have a credit or debit card, you could probably be sneaky and get one of the prepaid ones and have it put in your name without being caught.
