How do you dye a dark brown human hair wig to platinum blonde?

Published by admin at 10:23 am under Wig Human Hair

It doesn’t matter what chemicals need to be used as it is obviously not attached to my head.

I’ve tried bleaching it before and I can get it to blonde, but can’t get it any lighter to the platinum colour i want.

Does anyone know?
How do you strip it?

If you put bleach on it, even though it isn’t your own hair, you can still do damage to it. The wefting that it is sewn on will probably not hold up real well and some of the hair may fall out. It is really a hard thing to do.

where can i get a 100% human hair wig?

maybe you can use that purple tinted shampoo they sell in stores that takes the yellowness out of bleached hair, and it will appear more white

There’s only one way to make a wig lighter, and you won’t like it. But basically, there’s no way to actually lighten a wig. The effect is similar to coloring a piece of brown construction paper with a yellow marker. It doesn’t work.

The only way to lighten a wig is to use colored hair sprays, but those look really fake and make the hair look clumpy. They also flake.

You can’t. Did you miss a class in hair colouring or something?? You should have known this.

Everyone and his dog knows that wigs are "dyed" — which means, they use a dye for fabric and leather on it. It is NOT a hair colour… different formula entirely. You cannot bleach out a dye, and you can’t remove it easily without major damage to the hair. That is why you didn’t get any change when you used the bleach on it.

How to get it platinum? You buy another wig. Simple.
