Can a wig be made out of human hair that is highlighted?

My mom was unfortunately diagnosed with cancer and she will most likely have hair loss. My hair is very long and can be cut but it is highlighted. Is there any place that can take my highlighted hair and make it into a wig for her?

    Usually they want completely natural hair, but since you want it custom made, they may be able to use it.

    You can also purchase great human hair wigs that are already made and she could have it highlighted any way she wanted.
