Are women’s clothes really more uncomfortable than mens?
Some women at work were complaining that women’s clothes are too uncomfortable compared to men’s and I said they were wrong so they bet me that I could not dress as a woman for a halloween party and cope with the clothes all night. Well I won the bet, they gave me a total makeover and I wore a really short cocktail dress, pantyhose, high heels, a wig, fake nails, make up and even shaved my legs. It took a while but it was no problem! I looked amazing and lasted all night even in the shoes! So I think women should not complain so much what do you think?
I really don’t think so. First of all women have infinitely more choice in clothing and lots more freedom to wear what they want and like. A lot of women’s clothes are made of much nicer, thinner and softer fabrics as well.
Those women who think men’s clothes are more comfortable should try to spend a whole week in for example a three piece business suit with a closed shirt collar and a tie around their necks (the last item of course having no function whatsoever, but instead being a serious health risk). I bet they wouldn’t even last a day in these things. Or try to cope with men’s underwear, which is mostly made of horrid thick material and ill fitting and uncomfortable. Or try to wear long johns. They would be running back to pantyhose in less than 10 minutes. And so the examples are legion, in any case too many to mention here.
Not to mention of course the extremely limited choice. In a dept store or clothing store the men’s department is always only a small fraction the size of the women’s department.
Talking about shaving legs, what about men having to shave their face every day or at least every other day?
No, women shouldn’t be complaining about their clothing. If they are complaining now, what would the extent of complaining be when they would have to put up with men’s clothing for the rest of their lifes?
The fact is that many women don’t realize or want realize how good they have it, and of course how spoiled they are.
The only thing is maybe the shoes. There are really women’s shoes where one wonders how anyone can walk in them. But then it is their free choice to buy and wear them. But at least they have a lot of choice, which men don’t have.
And there we are again at the point of departure, being the infinite wider choice women have when it comes to clothing.
